A Rugby World Cup-winning coach, a Formula 1 designer, an Aston Martin F1 team head, club officials and charity chief executives. In their own words.
Team Clapham North is what happens when a 66-year-old historic motorsport and automotive garage takes its competitive streak to the race track. George Grant brings the business brain, the paddock contacts and the charity purpose; Abbie Eaton brings the professional pace that turns a good weekend into a podium. Together they run a Fun Cup Endurance programme that is quick, well organised and genuinely enjoyable to be part of. And every mile is raced in support of halow.

George is a charismatic business entrepreneur with a competitive mindset — whatever the situation, he gives everything. I'm pleased to have known George both professionally and as a friend for many years. He does a fantastic job as CEO at Housing Technology, running the garage business and his support as Patron to my ski foundation. Choosing the right business partner is crucial and I'm delighted to support George in all his future endeavours, both in the boardroom and on the race track.

George's racing background comes from his father Ronnie Grant, who competed in various open-wheel formulae from the 1970s to the 90s. He has a wealth of experience in how to use all forms of social media, plus a firm grasp of advertising in general, and should provide good coverage for any business that fancies being involved in motor racing. One thing I can promise is that you will have many laughs and a good time if you go racing with the Grants — but don't think George is not serious about his racing. He is very serious.

It says much about George that nothing he undertakes is done without an equal eye on how he can also help others. Little surprise, therefore, that George has been one of Haig Housing and its fundraising campaign's most stalwart and consistent supporters. All charities rely on the support of others, and we at Haig are indeed lucky to count George as one of our own.

It's a great honour to be associated with such a highly regarded brand, known for delivering top-class service and MOTs for 66 years. With a history steeped in motorsport, it's fantastic to have the support of a company with likeminded goals as mine — to be the best.

It was great to have such a highly regarded company as Clapham North onboard as one of my main sponsors for my successful BTCC debut. It has always been a dream of mine to race in the series and I am very thankful to have their support to help make it a reality.

Downforce Radio has gone from strength to strength with George at the helm. His input has been valuable in creating a 24/7 radio station and bringing our branding to some highly-regarded clients, such as the BTCC and the Formula Ford Festival. Everyone at Downforce Radio is proud to have George's leadership and we offer our full support behind his racing endeavours.

I have known Ronnie Grant and son George for some considerable time. Both, in their commercial and motor racing activities, have brought innovation and a 'McLaren' approach to both disciplines. Who else could claim to have Sir Patrick Head and John Barnard of Formula One fame, together with Sir Clive Woodward, as participants in their accomplishments.

George is one of those rare drivers who never gives you a worry. He is always organised, professional and makes sure everything required is present and on time. I'm sure by backing him and his team, your business will benefit from the exposure he can offer.

I've known George for over 20 years, since he first started out on his journey with Housing Technology. He has gone on to achieve considerable success in the sector, but his motivation has always been about more than business. He genuinely wants to help the housing sector and the people working in it, while making his own contribution to the fight against homelessness. Very few leaders are purpose driven at this level. Above all, George is a kind man. He works hard for his family but never forgets about other people or leaves anyone behind. His passion for motorsport with a mission says a lot about him. Through the sport he loves (and is very good at) he helps others and gives back to our country's veterans. George is one of the very good people in life and it's a honour to call him a friend.
